Two young police officers find themselves torn between collaboration and resistance as they navigate the Nazi-occupied Antwerp during World War II.

Marona, an innocent and empathetic little female dog, remembers the life she has shared with different masters, whom she has loved unconditionally.

Robinson is a doctor and unlike Robinson Crusoe, his solitude is voluntary but his island in the Mediterranean Sea is invaded by migrants, NGOs, guards. Friday is a castaway, the only one from his boat to have survived when sailing from Africa to Italy. During his strolls on the island, Robinson confronts his own solitude by keeping a diary - that works like augmented reality - filled with extraordinary beings and events, which both fill and trouble his daily life.

When the three beggars Suskewiet, Pitje Vogel and Schrobberbeeck are tired of their poverty and hunger, they decide to sing Epiphany on Christmas Eve. Their plan is a triumph and they sing themselves rich. On the way back to the pub however, they get lost in the woods and witness the birth of Little Baby Jesus. Bedazzled by this miracle they decide to give away all their gifts. When next year Christmas is around, they decide to sing again. But puzzled by last year experience, they start to quarrel over the gifts. Our three friends fall apart and each go their own way.

But they will find much more along their way: they encounter their deceased grand-parents, they fight the soul of the forest and learn from the chief of pleasure. Everyone tells them a story about life and death. At the end of their long journey, the brother and sister enter the Kingdom of the Future and meet some yet-to-be born children. Delighted with this discovery, they eventually return home.

Jessica Comley is an American agent of the U.S. Border Patrol on the Arizona-Mexico border. Excelling for its mature performances and its stylisation of image and sound, the film foregrounds Hakan’s wounded soul and underlines his vehement efforts to break free from his own private prison.

‘Welcome Home’ shows three intense moments in the life of Lila. She is the common thread between three men she meets during significant instants of her existence. The film is a sharp love letter to Brussels, a city in a constant state of flux, a Babylon with coming-and-going inhabitants, affected by the constant transformation of its urbanism and buildings.
