Pianist (Ung Na) is married to the beautiful (Jeong-suk Kim). His wife is a vain, self-indulgent woman who plays with other men.

Having become engaged to his beloved Shinjae, the young intellectual Myungkook is forced to leave his homeland, helping a group of Korean patriots, fighters for the liberation of their homeland from Japanese invaders.
