Documentary about Swedish director, Mats Helge Olsson, an illiterate Swedish director most noted in his home country for debuting with the first "Lingonberry Western", DEAD MAN'S TRAIL, landing himself in debtors prison after producing Per Oscarsson's financial fiasco SWEDEN FOR THE SWEDES, creating the cheesy, low-budget, unlikely U.S. hit, NINJA MISSION, and then - before fading away into near total obscurity - following up on NINJA MISSION by simultaneously making three films (SILENT CHASE; FATAL SECRET; MAD BUNCH) with then-fading U.S. actor, David Carradine... who may not have known he was making more than one.

Nacksving (1975-1981) - the influential and short-lived cooperative record company in Gothenburg, Sweden. The comprehensive and powerful multi-cultural socialistic music theatre project, Tältprojektet (1977). And the ANC Gala at the Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg 1985. It is also a film about ideals, the left wing movement and political changes in Sweden during the 70's and the 80's. Following Nacksving's bankruptcy, the subsidiary record company Transmission and Nacksving Recording Studio continued.

In 1984, the debate host Siewert Öholm dominated Swedish television. He was the self-proclaimed moral compass for the entire Swedish people. This documentary is about saw blades, crotches, bible quotes and the life change of Siewert Öholm.

I have returned to the island were I grew up. My dad has spent thirty years alone at sea fishing lobster. He was taught the trade by his dad, who learnt from his dad. A heritage pasted down from father to son. My father never got a son, only daughters and since I was a girl no one assumed I was interested. After I turned eighteen I left Sweden and moved to Australia. After a decade abroad I started to long for home. I return to the island to see if I have it in me, can I learn the things I was never taught as a child? Will the legacy fade with me or can I become the family's next lobster fisherman? /Karolin Axelsson
