Karl was a ship hand, who has decided to return to his hometown of Hamburg. There on the night of the yearly beer festival, he meets Margit, who tells him she has left her family home in search of freedom. They spend the night in a hotel, and fall in love. Not wanting to part, Karl proposes to Margit and the two rent an apartment together. In truth, Margit is the daughter of a prominent Hamburg family, and is engaged to a man named Florian. When her family comes in search of her, Margit vows to only return with Karl by her side.

As there are increasing performances in the Takarazuka Revue, in 1921, the Flower Troupe and the Moon Troupe were born, and the first Flower Troupe performance was held. The year 2021 celebrates the 100th anniversary for the Flower Troupe. And in this performance, it will be led by the new top combi Yuzuka Rei and Hoshikaze Madoka. The glamourous work of "The Fascination" will celebrate the establishment and 100th anniversary of the Flower Troupe. Edmond Dantes, a young sailor from Marseille, is being dragged in chains to the Chateau d'If, a state prison. He protests his innocence, but the jailors laugh and torment him before locking him up in solitary confinement. A few short hours before, Dantes had returned to Marseille from a voyage at sea and been reunited with his fiancée, Mercedes. Her father, Pierre Morrel, promoted Dantes to captain as a wedding gift to the couple. Into the middle of this celebration came the soldiers to arrest Dantes. He is sure he has done nothing that is against the law, and promises Mercedes he will return soon...

Since its premiere in Vienna in 1992, the musical "Elisabeth" has been performed all over the world. In Japan, "Elisabeth" was first performed by the Takarazuka Snow troupe in 1996, prior to the first performances in other countries. A total of 10 versions of the musical have been performed by different troupes, making it one of Takarazuka Revue's most popular musicals. The "Elisabeth TAKARAZUKA 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert" was held in 2021 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Snow troupe's first performance.

Set in Scotland at the beginning of the 20th century when the rule of the aristocracy has collapsed, the story follows a man born into a noble family. He lives with aristocratic grace to protect the land and people he loves, while harboring unfulfilled feelings for his twin brother's fiance.

"Grand Hotel" is a musical set in 1928 Berlin, depicting the varied lives of guests at a luxury hotel over a day-and-a-half. The Broadway production that opened in 1989 with Tommy Tune as director-choreographer earned rave reviews and went on to win five Tony Awards. The same show was later put on in London and Berlin as well. Suzukaze Mayo led the Moon Troupe in the Takarazuka Revue's 1993 production of "Grand Hotel." Tommy Tune was invited to direct and choreograph this Takarazuka version, which went on to win high acclaim. The Takarazuka Revue has invited Tommy Tune, who won the Special Tony Award at the 69th Tony Awards in 2015 for his many years of achievement, to serve as special supervisor as "Grand Hotel" returns to the stage at the outset of 2017, when the Moon Troupe's top star, Tamaki Ryou, will make her Takarazuka Revue debut.

EPHEMERAL LOVE: Austria, 1888. Crown Prince Rudolf is bored with the ostentatious royal life in the Austrian court. During a performance of “Hamlet,” Rudolf meets Marie Vetsera, the daughter of Baron Vetsera, the wealthiest man in Vienna. This play is based on “The Makropulos Case”, written by the famous Czech writer Karel Čapek. As usual, Takarazuka has added their own spin to the original story; the most notable change in this play is that the genders of most of the major characters have been reversed. (In the original play, the main character is a woman.

Takarazuka Flower Troupe 2014 Chunichi Theater production. In 1770, Princess Marie-Antoinette of the House of Hapsburg, youngest daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, marries at the age of fourteen, Prince Louis (future Louis XVI) of the House of Bourbon, eldest grandson of King Louis XV of France. In anxiety over some childishness still lingering in Marie-Antoinette, Empress Maria Theresa sends over to France her confidant, Count of Mercy-Argenteau, on the mission to tutor Marie-Antoinette to grow up to be a beloved queen of the French people.

Published by Kodansha in 1999, Katsuhiko Takahashi's 2000 Yoshikawa Eiji Literature prize-winning novel Fiery Enmity: Hero of the North (The Legend of Aterui) will be adapted to the stage. In the 8th century, while expanding its dominion to the Tohoku area, the Yamato Imperial Court seeks to conquer Ezo. Aterui, the young leader of Ezo, stands up to protect his hometown and joins forces with his allies in the hopes of defeating the imperial forces. However, triumph leads to more battles and before long, the fate of the Emishi people falls into the hands of Sakanoue no Tamuramaro, the imperial army's trump card. Aterui's drive to protect the pride of the Emishi people will be entangled in fierce battle within this spectacular musical work.

"Die Fledermaus" (The Bat) is an operetta by Johann Strauss II, also known as "The Waltz King." The new, extraordinary and delightful musical by Kairi Hokusho and the Star troupe breathes fresh life into a work with many a famous song and adoring fans around the world. It is the late 19th century in Vienna. Dr. Falke, together with his good friend, the Marquis Eisenstein, is attending a costume ball hosted by Empress Elisabeth. On the way home, Eisenstein is at a loss over what to do with the intoxicated Falke. He gets carried away and ties up Falke along an avenue. The doctor is stuck there all the night. Falke, trapped in his bat costume until the morning, becomes the laughingstock of the city and earns the nickname "Dr. Bat." He is unable to contain his anger, and to give Marquis Eisenstein a taste of his own medicine, Falke comes up with a plan for sweet revenge. Savor the gamesmanship between masterminds in a musical featuring a unique cast of characters.

“G.O.A.T” is an abbreviation for “Greatest Of All Time” and is a slang term that means “the best of all time”. A special concert will be held to bring out the charm of Kanato Tsukishiro, the top star of Tsukigumi, who has overwhelming expressiveness and singing ability. This time, we welcome Satoshi Mitsui, who is active not only as a choreographer but also as a director, to explore new possibilities for Tsukigumi members centered on Tsukishiro. Enjoy the finest entertainment to mark the beginning of 2024, the 110th anniversary of Takarazuka Revue.

-- Passion - José and Carmen -- Based on motifs in Mérimée's original work "Carmen," Don José is destined to be at the mercy of Carmen. His attraction to her passion is portrayed in this musical work. -- Apasionado!! III -- Apasionado in Spanish means "hot" or "the passion of man." To the theme of "heat," its various forms are incorporated into this revue, such as in hot rhythms, heated emotions, burning love, and the flames of jealousy. People will gamble their lives in the name of passion. It was performed by Moon Troupe in 2008, led by Sena Jun and in 2009 by Oozora Yuuhi of Cosmos Troupe. A staged piece overflowing with adult atmosphere, a brush-up will be delivered.

Futaro Yamada’s novel “The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls” is a historical epic that masterfully weaves fiction into fact: Takarazuka will take on the challenge of adapting this work for the stage for the very first time.
