Set in the spring of 1972, Lacy, a teenage hitchhiker, gets lost in the forest of Bruce Peninsula, where she spends many hallucinatory, surrealistic days and nights attempting to escape.

After her parents death, newly orphaned Cath travels up north to her recently inherited lake house where she meets Ryan, a likeable man happy to fill the void her parents left.
