De knappe Carly Norris verhuist naar een torenhoog gebouw waar de laatste tijd een serie geheimzinnige en dodelijke ongevallen plaatsvonden. Carly komt in contact met haar medebewoners, onder wie Zeke Hawkins,een welgestelde vrijgezel en Jack Landsford, die bezig is met een onderzoek naar de dramatische gebeurtenissen in het appartementengebouw. Wanneer Carly verliefd wordt op Zeke en Landsford afwijst, belandt ze in een troebele en geheimzinnige wereld, niet wetende dat elke stap in haar luxueuze appartement van minuut tot minuut door een geheimzinnige gluurder wordt geregistreerd.

Een jongetje helpt de vriend van zijn zus bij de inbraak in het huis van de huurbaas die de boel oplicht. Maar dit huis blijkt een kruising te zijn tussen het huis van The Adams Family en Fort Knox: ze kunnen er wel in, maar ze kunnen er met geen mogelijkheid meer uit. Dan komen de bewoners thuis. Met geen kans op ontsnapping komt het jongetje erachter dat de bewoners er wel hele vreemde gewoontes op na houden en dat er nog meer gevangenen zijn, namelijk in de kelder.

In een pension in het negentiende-eeuwse Japan verblijven een aantal excentrieke karakters, waaronder de dief Sutekichi, op wie de pensionhouder Osugi verliefd is. Sutekichi is echter verliefd op Osugi's zus.

Dr. Juliet Dermer (Hilary Swank) betrekt een nieuw huurhuis in Brooklyn. Al snel voelt ze echter dat ze wel érg in de gaten wordt gehouden door haar huisbaas, Max (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Wanneer duidelijk wordt dat Max een griezelige obsessie voor Juliet heeft, begint een gevaarlijk kat- en muisspel.

Hardy heeft geld nodig en ontmoet toevallig een oude vriend, nu een bokspromotor, en meldt zich aan voor "Battling Laurel" als de prijsvechter van het team, maar ontdekt dat hun tegenstander in de ring een angstaanjagende oude vijand is.

De beeldhouwer Lizzie staat op het punt een tentoonstelling op poten te zetten. Deze zal wellicht een grote impact hebben op haar verdere carrière en wordt geïnspireerd door haar chaotische levensstijl. In de aanloop naar de expositie poogt Lizzie een balans te vinden tussen haar werk en haar persoonlijke leven.

Mark is een onsuccesvol acteur, die flink in de problemen is geraakt. Samen met zijn vriend Pierce, proberen zij om aan hun situatie te ontsnappen door de dagen en gebeurtenissen te herschrijven alsof het een film is.

De jonge Nina, een intelligent en getalenteerd striptekenares, heeft een dag-/nachttaak aan het aflopen van hippe feestjes en het bij elkaar scharrelen van geld om haar levensstijl te financieren.

Hey, Landlord is an American sitcom appearing on NBC during the 1966-1967 season, sponsored by Procter & Gamble in the 8:30-9pm Eastern time period on Sunday nights. It is notable for its casting director Fred Roos, who later became a producer for Francis Ford Coppola. Roos discovered counterculture sketch group The Committee in San Francisco and cast all members in bit parts in Hey, Landlord.

Al Murray's Happy Hour was a chat show presented by comedian Al Murray and produced by Avalon TV. The first series aired in early 2007. It is broadcast on the British terrestrial TV network, ITV, and the first series was broadcast on Saturday nights at 10pm. The second series aired on Fridays at 10pm. A third series returned to ITV on 12 September 2008, in the same 10pm Friday night slot. However, UTV in Northern Ireland did not show the third series in the 10pm Friday night slot with the other ITV regions. They now show it the following Thursday at around 11.40pm, due to UTV regional programming on Friday nights.
