The film is following the undefined relationship between the two characters, based on autobiographical events and raw dialogues about insecurity, nostalgia. They attempt to explain their thoughts whilst they cook pancakes or take a walk along the river, while being stuck in the feeling of emptiness.

After a long time, Ákos visits his sick father, Ágoston, who is being cared for by Ilona, an elderly carer. Father and son have a chance to connect after Ilona's unexpected illness leaves them alone.

Two relationship dramas run parallel - the issue of having children that ties them together and the issue of having children that tears them apart. Perhaps they have more in common: a fear of commitment, of responsibility, of loneliness, of each other and of themselves. What they have in common is what tears them apart. Their inability to live together, their inability to be honest.

Krisztian is caught between two worlds. On the one hand, he takes pride in his spiritual development and teaching meditation to others. On the other hand he is consumed by his sexual desires and his fears of a novel global pandemic.
