11월 3일 이른 시각, 자전거를 타고 집으로 향하던 17살 리사 맥베이가 납치당하고, 목숨을 건지기 위해 고군분투하는 상황에 빠진다. 리사는 납치범과 관계를 형성하고 반대 심리를 이용해 결국 탈출하고 집으로 돌아가지만, 경찰과 가족은 리사의 말을 믿어주지 않는다.

베트남전이 한참이던 1970년대, 폭격임무를 부여받고 라오스로 임무 수행을 나갔던 디에터(크리스천 베일)의 전투기가 격추되당하고 만다. 편대에서 낙오되어 홀로 베트남 한가운데 떨어지고 만 디에터는 군에서 배운 훈련과 지식이 헛되지 않게 재빨리 정글 속으로 몸을 숨기며 도주하지만, 얼마 뒤 정찰에 나선 베트콩에 사로잡힌다. 군인이 아닌 미국 시민임을 주장하지만 그에게 돌아오는 것은 구타와 고문이다. 얼마간의 시간이 흐른 뒤 디에터는 정글 속에 있는 포로수용소로 옮겨지고, 그곳에 감금되어 있던 다른 포로들과 함께 기회를 엿보며 탈출을 감행한다.

Survivor Croatia is a Croatian reality game show based on the international Survivor format. Following the premise of other versions of the Survivor format, the show features a group of contestants, referred to as "castaways" as they are marooned in an isolated location. The castaways must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in various challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted off the island by their fellow castaways. The final castaway remaining is awarded the title of "Sole Survivor" and the grand prize. The series first aired on HRT 2 in 2005. It was cancelled the same year. In 2012, the fourth season of Survivor Srbija was broadcast on the Croatian channel RTL Televizija and serves as the second Croatian season of Survivor. The third, fourth and fifth season, a pan-regional seasons, aired in 2022, 2023 and 2024 respectively on Nova TV in Croatia.
