일상생활 모든 분야에서 빼놓지 않고 사용되는, 매력적이지만 논란 많은 재료 플라스틱. <플라스틱 행성>은 세밀하고도 개인적인 관점으로 플라스틱에 접근하는 작품이다. 영화는 세계 곳곳을 돌며 100년 동안 이어져온 플라스틱의 ‘영광스러운 승리’를 보여주는 동시에 플라스틱이 세상에 끼친 예기친 않은 영향을 다루고 있다.
