舞台は古代の中国。安住の地で知られる平和の谷が凶悪なカンフー使い、タイ・ランに狙われてしまう。しかし彼に対抗できるのはウーグウェイ導師が選んだ伝説の「龍の戦士」だけだ。 そこでマスター・モンキーやマスター・カマキリといったカンフーの達人たちが選抜大会で腕を競うが、ウーグウェイ導師が選んだのは何とぐうたらで小心者のパンダ、ポー。カンフーへの熱意だけは人一倍のポーは達人の師匠・シーフー老師に弟子入りする。

ついに伝説の龍の戦士となったパンダのポー。カンフーを極めた5人のマスターたちとともに谷の平和を守る彼だったが、そんなある日、新たな敵、クジャクのシェン大老が現われる。シェン大老は恐るべき破壊力を持った大砲を開発し、世界征服を企てていた。シーフー老師の命を受け、シェン大老の野望を止めるべく立ち上がったポーたち。だが、ポーは戦いの中で、シェン大老が失われた両親との記憶に関わっていることを知る。

70年代サンディエゴ。ロンと仲間たちは、地元テレビ局の人気ニュース・キャスター。街の人気者でやりたい放題のロンたちは、テレビ業界でこの世の春を満喫していた。しかし、野心溢れるキャスター志望の女性、ヴェロニカが入社した事から、事態は急変。最初は惹かれあったロンとヴェロニカだったが、ヴェロニカがメインキャスターに抜擢された事から、二人の間には激しい火花が!　さらにはライバル・テレビ局のキャスターたちを巻き込んで、激しいバトルが繰り広げられる!

元気娘「天鐘りんね」は、交差点で1匹の猫を救った際、不慮の事故により、なんと地獄の学校「三途ノ川学園」に転校してしまう。 学園長「ヘルヴィス」により、自分が死んでいると告げられたりんねだが、「元気があればなんでもできる」というママの言葉に支えられ、元の世界に戻る方法を探しながら、落ちこぼれクラスメイト達ともトモダチになっていく。 しかしある時、イケメン生徒会長「九頭センパイ」から、「生きたまま地獄に連れてこられている」という事実を知らされたりんねは、九頭達と共にヘルヴィスと戦うことを決意する。 果たしてりんねはママの元に戻れるのか!? そして、りんねが地獄にやってきた真の意味とは!?
