A 13 year old boy's vision of family breakdown and fragmentation. The three members of the household, Mother, Father and Child, are in a constant state of unfulfilled expectation. All this is expressed in the words of the child through a pen that the father buys for the child.

Certain Emotions (Belli Başlı Duygular), a 2024 short film by Cem Kamil Dede, explores the inner thoughts of a 16-year-old boy grappling with existential questions. In just three minutes, the boy's monologue expresses a nihilistic view of life, love, and the fleeting nature of emotions. He challenges conventional ideas of happiness and relationships, revealing a deep sense of isolation.
