Christopher Robin ist erwachsen geworden. Doch der Junge, der einst mit seinen tierischen Freunden zahllose Abenteuer im Hundertmorgenwald erlebte, führt kein glückliches Leben: Er steckt in einem schlecht bezahlten Job fest, mit dem er nicht glücklich ist und bei dem er zu viel arbeiten muss, und vernachlässigt darüber noch dazu seine Familie. Auch seine Abenteuer mit Winnie Puuh und den anderen sind beinahe in Vergessenheit geraten. Als Christopher Robin dann einen Familienausflug absagen muss, weil sein Chef ihn am Wochenende zur Arbeit zwingt, ist er am Tiefpunkt angekommen. Doch da steht auf einmal Winnie Puuh vor ihm. Und auch seine Kumpels sind zur Stelle, ihrem alten menschlichen Freund zu zeigen, dass das Leben Spaß machen kann.
