Video-Spiel-Bösewicht Wreck-It-Ralph wäre gerne so beliebt wie sein stetiger Widersacher Fix-It-Felix. Das Problem: niemand mag den „Bad Guy“, aber jeder mag Helden. Als ein neuer First-Person-Shooter auf den Markt kommt, sieht Ralph seine Chance auf Heldentum und Beliebtheit. Er schmuggelt sich heimlich in das andere Spiel, um dort wenigstens einmal eine Auszeichnung zu gewinnen. Doch er kann seiner wahren Natur nicht ganz entfliehen und zerstört schnell alles und entfesselt damit einen gefährlichen Bösewicht, der alle Videospiele zu übernehmen droht. Ralphs einzige Hoffnung ist Vanellope von Schweetz, eine schöne Unruhestifterin aus einem Autorennspiel, die ihm beibringen will, was es heißt, ein guter Junge zu sein. Doch kommt Ralphs Wandelung noch rechtzeitig bevor es „Game Over“ für alle Videospiele heißt?

Greg ist frisch geschieden und wurde kurz danach auch noch von seinem Chef gefeuert. Er trifft auf die mysteriöse Isabel, die auf der Straße lebt und davon überzeugt ist, dass die verschmutzte, zerbrochene Welt um sie herum nur das Ergebnis einer Computersimulation ist. Kyle glaubt anfänglich nicht an Isabels Theorie, doch schon bald entdeckt er, dass an ihrer Behauptung doch etwas dran sein könnte.

Während sie auf einer Hochzeit in Palm Springs festsitzen, lernt Nyles Sarah kennen, die Trauzeugin und das schwarze Schaf ihrer Familie. Nachdem er sie vor einem katastrophalen Toast bewahrt hat, fühlt sie sich zu ihm und seinem unkonventionellen Nihilismus hingezogen. Doch als ihr spontanes Stelldichein durch eine surreale Störung vereitelt wird, muss Sarah Nyles darin recht geben, dass nichts wirklich wichtig ist, und die beiden beginnen, auf der Hochzeitsfeier gepflegt Chaos zu stiften...

Für die drei Mittdreißiger Will (Glenn Howerton), Chad (Steve Little) und Gino (Ben Schwartz) ist das Cafè Coffe Town nicht nur Dreh- und Angelpunkt ihres Lebens, der IT-Spezialist Will nutzt Coffee Town tatsächlich als seine Wohnung, sehr zum Verdruss des Mitarbeiters Sam (Josh Groban), der die Theke gerne auch als Bühne seiner Rockstar-Ambitionen nutzt. Das Glück aller wird aber getrübt, als Pläne bekannt werden, wonach das beliebte Coffee Town einer Szene-Bar weichen soll. Die drei Freunde hecken daraufhin folgende Strategie aus: Wenn die Gegend nur kriminell genug erscheint, werden die Spekulanten schon von ihrem Plan Abstand nehmen. Also wollen die Drei einen Überfall verüben auf Coffee Town…

Imagine if three people suddenly found themselves as civil servants of the city Mitsuba. What sort of personalities and drives would they have to push them to seek out such careers? Lucy Yamagami, a serious young woman assigned to the Welfare Administrative Section, intends to use the job as a means of settling a vendetta against another civil servant. Yutaka Hasebe, a flirtatious young man assigned to the First Section of the Welfare Department, intends to slack off whenever he can and have a good time. And Saya Miyoshi, a college graduate assigned to the Second Section of the Welfare Department, intends to simply get through the first job she's had in her life as best she can. Servant x Service follows these three newcomers starting their jobs as government employees under their supervisor, Taishi Ichimiya, who is utterly clueless about how to direct them—despite having worked there for the last eight years. Nevertheless, he welcomes them as fellow civil servants and encourages them to work themselves like dogs for the sake of the citizens. We follow their day-to-day lives as they experience the rigors of government employment, including dealing with regulations, office romances, paperwork, and being the nearest punching bags when citizens need something to complain about.
