In Greco's film a shipwrecked man stumbles upon an ultra-modernist mansion. In it he finds a group of people trapped in a perpetual present facilitated by a machine that's capable of reproducing reality. Sant's reinvention of this film is shot on the same location, follows the same storyline, but occupies another world. In place of the mansion, he finds himself in 'Sweethaven' - the set of Altman's 'Popeye'. Though there is no trace of Greco's set, Altman's 'Sweethaven' remains - echoing Greco's plot by existing as an open-air museum where costumed entertainers re-enact scenes.

Their close neighbour Lieni, is a spinster who tries her best to wins the heart of bachelor Salvu, Katrin’s brother who has just returned from migration in the United States. Joe’s colleagues at work have different characters: Alan is a charming lad, always ready for a good joke, Gwido speaks a little but eats a lot, Petra is the target of most of the office jokes while Mr. Callus, the manager, is a leader at work but a victim with his own wife. Dora has a personal secretary, Joyce, who is much more a friend than a colleague.

Sometimes love blossoms, but sometimes all the couples do is fight. Will it be love, friendship or hate?
X Factor Malta is the Maltese version of the British television music competition The X Factor, created by Simon Cowell, due to begin in October 2018 and broadcast on Television Malta. The show will be used as the platform for the selection of Malta's entrant at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, and the winner will also secure a record contract with Sony Music Italy

Malta's Top Model is a Maltese reality documentary based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model and is aired on Favourite Channel. The show places contestants against each other in a variety tests to determine who will win title of the new Maltese Top Model as well as a modeling contract with a small modeling agency and the front cover of a local magazine in hopes of a promising career start in the modeling industry. Claire Amato equals the role of Tyra Banks in the original series as the head of the search, and mentor for the chosen finalists during the competition. Other judges are casting director Alan J. "Jay" Darmanin and challenge organizer Jeff Francalanza. The show started with a casting recap after which 14 girls were chosen, however 14th contestant Maria immediately withdrew after the competition started. Each week the 13 girls that were living together on the same island faced challenges and a weekly photo shoot whereupon the judges chose to eliminate one girl per episode. In addition to this, the viewers could vote for their favorite girl every week per SMS. 17 year-old Audrienne Thaipend won the competition over 25 year-old old Sanaa Rizgalla. This version of the show is the second installment worldwide to feature a trans woman among its finalists after America's Next Top Model cycle 11 alumna Isis King. Each girl was supported by her own Maltese sponsor.

The newscast was broadcast from London, England, and was produced by Independent Television News. A domestic version was also shown in the United Kingdom on terrestrial television. ITN World News began broadcasting on Super Channel, and aired on NBC Europe, Nine Network Australia, Public Broadcasting Service Public television stations and most of the ITV Network Regions. The broadcast began in 1987, and has not been seen on screens since 1999. The newscast was produced by ITN and broadcast from its London Bureau.
