After six months in modern Seattle, Ray, broke and lonely, decides to return to the Region, his depressed hometown, to finish his High School senior year. Once at home he quickly reconnects with old friends, and old habits.

When James Conrad's wife, Kristina, goes missing, he is interrogated by detectives and he finds out she may have been keeping secrets from him. James learns about a man named Ben Novack, who may have been Kristina's lover on the side. As he digs deeper, he finds out that the bond between husband and wife isn't as strong as he thought.
