Expedition Robinson is a Swedish reality television program in which contestants are put into survival situations, and a voting process eliminates one person each episode until a winner is determined. The format was developed in 1994 by Charlie Parsons for a United Kingdom TV production company called Planet 24, but the Swedish debut in 1997 was the first production to actually make it to television.
Contestants voted out from "Robinson", the Swedish version of Survivor, receive a chance to return to the main competition by surviving the harsh conditions of the borderland.
Defeated contestants from Sveriges Mästerkock compete against each other in smaller challenges overseen by Markus Aujalay. The winner continues on to the following week, meeting a new contestant. An amazing price awaits for the winner of the final week.
Dagens man is a Swedish dating show on TV4 Plus hosted by model and actress Carolina Gynning. The show is based on Taken Out which has been broadcast in Australia, Holland, Spain, Finland, Denmark and Norway. In the studio there are 20 ladies who meets a man at the time and has to decide if they want to continue playing for a chance at a date with the single man. At the second stage of the show the man tells more about himself and still the ladies can reject him at any time. In the third and last stage the man has to ask questions to the ladies and choose one for a date later that day which is follow by cameras. The first two seasons was filmed at the same time in 2009 and broadcast between 2009 and 2010 with a third season coming up in 2011.
